Initial Setup

The following chapter explains step by step how to set up your METARMAP after delivery. You typically only need to perform these steps once. Of course, you can also change your METARMAP settings at a later time

Connect to Power

Use the included power adapter and USB-C cable and plug it into the back of your METARMAP. Once your METARMAP is powered and lit up, you can proceed to the next step.

You must use the included USB-C power adapter, as it provides the necessary current for your METARMAP.

Connect via METARMAP Connect

Navigate to METARMAP Connect (https://metarmap.eu/connect) in a compatible browser. Via METARMAP Connect you can connect to your METARMAP and manage all settings. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and click the Connect Your METARMAP button. A window will then open where you need to select the device to connect to. If multiple devices are displayed, select the device with the prefix M-DE (METARMAP) or MM-DE (METARMAP Mini).

Configure Your Wi-Fi

After connecting to your METARMAP, you can make all settings. The most important thing initially is to configure the Wi-Fi connection. Stay on the Wi-Fi tab and enter your Wi-Fi credentials. Your METARMAP will then restart and attempt to establish an internet connection. Once your METARMAP is lit up again, you can reconnect via METARMAP Connect to check if the Wi-Fi connection was successful.

Normal Operation

If you have successfully completed the previous steps, your METARMAP will now go into normal operation. You can reconnect via METARMAP Connect at any time to make settings.

If you set up your METARMAP outside of the on/off times, it will only light up when the on time is reached. You can adjust these times via METARMAP Connect under the Times tab, more information can be found here.
